Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also had them long enough that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where were you able to get your pair?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that way!
Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How much do they cost?
Back in April, I found a deal for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.

Do they fit join Golden Goose here as expected?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..
How do they perform over time?
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
